It's Thriller Night!

This week, it's the Halloween edition! And I've got food poisoning from spaghettini, so I only had time to draw one gijinka, how marvelous! Now, when you think of Halloween, you usually think of spooky ghosts, and what could be spookier than a levitating decapitated woman head? So here we go:
Pokemon: Misdreavus
Ability: Necrofantasia
Necrofantasia is an ability that allows the user to summon and control zombies. How? By screaming of course. The zombies will remain under the control of the user for as long as he/she shrieks. While that may not seem like much time, the zombies are actually surprisingly fast. With proper prior planning, a few seconds would be enough to subdue a powerful opponent (or accomplish some form of menial task). Most people imagine zombies to be painfully slow and easy to escape from, but what's stopping them from increasing their speed? I doubt a lack of muscle mass or rigor mortis would affect them adversely considering the zombies are perfectly capable of movement even if they logically should not. If they can move without need for muscles, then of course, they will be able to move faster if they have less muscles to carry around. Misdreavus is able to hold her scream for about 1 minute.

High! Voltage! Rock n' Roll!

Today's pair of gijinkas are a rocking pair of electric boys. Their favourite genre of music is hard rock, and they love playing air guitar. Let's start off with the electric canine:
Pokemon: Manectric
Ability: Crowded House
Crowded House is an ability that allows the user to...summon a large stage from beneath the ground. Yup. His ability simply lets him summon a stage from underground. Despite how inconvenient and inflexible this ability seems, the collateral damage caused by "being upstaged" can be massive. Especially, when the number of stages that can be summoned is infinite.

Next up, the electric feline:
Pokemon: Luxray
Ability: Electric Six
Electric Six is an ability that allows the user to generate electricity using sound. When Electric Six is in effect, energy from a produced sound can be used to build up charges at a singular point anywhere within the range of the soundwave. As the charge builds up, a potential difference is created between the chosen point and the source of the sound (which gets progressively more positive as the soundwave travels further), allowing lightning to shoot from one point to the other. Admittedly, this ability was rather simple when I first thought up this gijinka (turns sound into electricity), but now that I have a better understanding of electricity, I've made adjustments accordingly.

Back, New and Improved!

Still trying to clear out my first sketchbook, but updating the style with which I draw these things, I have returned from my momentary hiatus with 2 new gijinkas, ready to be posted.
You will notice that there are now weird-looking robot things that closely (maybe) resemble the Pokemon themselves. These are the mechanisms behind each gijinka's ability. Every time the gijinka uses his/her ability, this robot thing manifests itself (corporeally, so normal people should not be able to see them), and supplies the effect generated by the ability. If you've read Jojo's Bizarre Adventure before (Parts 3 and onward), you will realize that these are basically Stands.
You are correct, these are basically Stands.
It's unlikely that I will go back and update all of my earlier gijinkas with this new style, since I'm predicting another change in style maybe a few months later, but that's alright. The important part (for me anyway) is to showcase the designs of the gijinkas and the various abilities that they possess, no matter how I do it.
Without further ado, here are the gijinkas:
Pokemon: Dragonite
Ability: Animal Collective
Animal Collective is an ability that allows the user to transform any part of his/her body into a corresponding body part of any animal. The body part is resized to scale with the user's body, so the animal part (for example, an ant's jaw), will be the size of a human's. One body part may only transform into one animal part at a time, and cannot transform into a combination of numerous animal body parts. However, separate body parts can transform into animal parts from separate animals.

Up next, a guy who spins:
Pokemon: Hitmontop
Ability: Street Fighter
Street Fighter is an ability that allows the user to rotate at blinding speeds. Quite simply, the most straightforward way to use this ability is to spin rapidly and have a limb (perhaps a fist) gain enough momentum to produce bone-crushing injuries. Despite this, the biggest drawback of this ability is how you can't actually see straight ahead since 'straight ahead' keeps changing for you. Hitmontop has managed to overcome this by synching his rotation with his rate of processing visual stimulus, allowing him to see in one direction at a time and subsequently, being able to better control his spinning. He can also spin upside down if he so chooses, but who on Earth would want to do that?

I'm Getting Lazy?

Um...yea...that's not a very good excuse at all is it? But really, with schoolwork piling up and my results taking a surprising twist towards undesirable grades, I can't really put a lot of heart into my drawings now. Luckily, today's Pokemon gijinka are Gen 1 gijinka so not a lot of heart is needed. They're designs are so simple:
Pokemon: Gengar
Ability: Slimshady
Slimshady is an ability that allows the user to manipulate shadows. In order to activate Slimshady, the user must be physically touching the shadow he/she wishes to manipulate (that is, the shadow needs to be cast somewhere on the user's body). The user is capable of controlling the shadow's (and subsequently the original object's/person's) movements as well as shape or structure. However, once the shadow is out of reach, the effects are lost.

Pokemon: Machamp
Ability: Second Hand Serenade
Second Hand Serenade is an ability that allows the user to grow up to two extra arms. The arms will be connected to the shoulder blade like the original arms and will be completely identical to the original arms in structure and physical ability. It is possible to grow only one extra arm but I don't see the point in that.

I Haven't Posted for Weeks!

And to make up for it, I'm gonna post 2 gijinkas today...Yea, you know what? That doesn't sound very satisfying at all, deal with it. School is trying to bombard me with busy so I won't be able to update as often as I used to:
Pokemon: Arcanine
Ability: We Started The Fire
We Started The Fire is an ability that allows the user to ignite objects by generating music. Basically, if the user produces sounds of a certain frequency and possess a form of rhythm to them, he/she can turn it into heat energy and burn things through fire. Singing is sufficient to activate this ability but using a musical instrument is always a good idea because any sound they produce is music by default. Arcanine is a very sophisticated and civilized man who plays a small handheld harp. He is also bipolar and will randomly go nuts, burning anything green in color. Avoid him if you're wearing green.
Pokemon: Altaria
Ability: Cloud Nine
Cloud Nine is an ability that allows the user to turn inanimate objects and non-living things into clouds. This includes natural materials like stone, water, and dead trees. The type of cloud produced is also under the user's control. Cirrus and stratus clouds are simple and effective for hiding, but cumulonimbus or storm clouds are useful when it comes to combat. Altaria loves playing around in fog, but is also mindful not to use her ability on things that seem important or irreplaceable. Unfortunately, this does not include your clothes.

Do I Have Anything Witty to Say About Wings?

I guess not. Well, continuing my quest to transfer all of my earlier gijinkas from my first sketchbook into the computer, here's one with a rather simple power:
Pokemon: Pidgeot
Ability: Halo
Halo is an ability that allows the user to grow feathered wings on his back for flight. It only creates feathered wings that are large and strong enough to propel the user through the air, and can only create a maximum of two wings (That means that if required, the user can produce only one wing instead of two). The wings' muscles are created together with the wings, as well as a stronger diaphragm and lungs so that the user is able to breathe properly while flying. Pidgeot uses Halo to fly...Yeah...That's what he does...Cause you can't actually use Halo for anything else...Or can you?

My Sketchbooks Aren't Lasting Very Well...

They really aren't...The oldest of my specialized gijinka sketchbooks is 3 years old, and its already showing signs of severe degeneration. I'm gonna have to transfer my ideas from the book to the computer as fast as I can, so for now, I'll be posting gijinkas from my first sketchbook. Bear with me here; their powers are not as fun or interesting as my later gijinkas, but some of them are pretty flexible:
Pokemon: Skarmory
Ability: White Stripes
White Stripes is an ability that allows the user to effectively produce vacuum waves. A vacuum wave is produced when something (For example, a blade) moves through the air while White Stripes is active. the air molecules displaced by the movement will compress and move away in the shape of a wave, pulling a vacuum behind them. This vacuum is able to cut through anything by forcing molecules apart (Cause, y'know, that's kinda what a vacuum is...). The range of the vacuum wave is dependent on the force applied on the air molecules. Basically, the harder you swing, the farther the waves travel. The ability is, however, limited to blades and other sharp edges. White Stripes won't create vacuum waves from flailing arms. Skarmory's crimson blades (Connected around his wrist by chains, three blades for each hand) are his means of vacuum production. He is very serious, but sometimes impulsive. Do not agitate him.
